Bring your existing investor list from a spreadsheet

Import a CSV or Excel file into a table without retyping a row.

Already got a list going in a spreadsheet? Don't start over. Bring it in.

Upload the file

Open your project's Files and drop your spreadsheet in. CSV and Excel both work. For Excel, Lenz imports the first sheet, up to 5,000 rows.

Choose where it goes

Open the file and click Import into a table. Pick your Investors table, or A new table if this list is something different.

Match the columns

Lenz lists every column in your file. For each one, pick the field it fills, make it a New field, or Skip it.

Got a "Fund" column and Lenz calls it "Firm"? Just match them up.

Check and import

Look over the preview, then click Import. Done.

Wrong file? On the file's page, click Undo import. The rows go to Recently deleted for 30 days, in case you change your mind again.
