Importing a spreadsheet

Updated

Already tracking investors in a spreadsheet? Bring it with you.

  1. Open your project's Files and drop the file in.
  2. Open the file and click Import into a table.
  3. Choose where it goes: one of your tables, or A new table.
  4. Match each column to a field. Make it a New field, or Skip anything you don't need.
  5. Check the preview, then click Import.

You can import CSV and Excel files. For Excel, we import the first sheet, up to 5,000 rows.

File's a bit of a mess? Click Ask Lenz to tidy and import it instead and let Lenz sort it out.

Oops, wrong file

No problem. On the file's page, find Imported from this file and click Undo import. The rows go to Recently deleted for 30 days, so you can even undo the undo.

Getting it back out

To export one table, pick Export CSV from the table's ⋯ menu. To take everything, use Export your data under Settings → General.
