Connecting Gmail

Updated

Lenz writes your emails as drafts right in your Gmail, and keeps an eye out for replies. For that, it needs your Gmail connected.

  1. Click Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find Gmail and click Connect, then Sign in with Google.
  3. Pick your account and allow access. Google sends you straight back to Lenz.

That's it.

What Lenz can see and do

Lenz asks Google for two things: reading your email, and managing drafts. That lets it read replies from the people you've emailed and put drafts in your Gmail.

Sending is a different story. A draft only goes out when you approve it. More on that here.

In more than one workspace?

If you've already connected your account in another workspace, you'll see Use here instead. One click, no second trip to Google.

Your address, your signature

Everyone sends from their own account. Set yours under Settings → Email, and add a signature while you're there.

Why add it in Lenz? Gmail only adds your signature to emails you write yourself, so Lenz adds it to its drafts for you.
