Getting replies in Slack
Updated
Want your team to hear when someone writes back, without anyone opening Lenz? Connect Slack.
- Click Integrations in the sidebar.
- Find Slack and click Connect, then Add to Slack.
- Pick the channel and allow. Slack sends you straight back to Lenz.
You need to be an owner of the workspace. Everyone else sees the channel, but only owners connect or change it.
What shows up in the channel
- Someone replied: who wrote back, on whose email, and the subject.
- Drafts waiting: how many are waiting in Approvals, and whose. At most once an hour.
- An automation failed: which one, and why.
Switch any of them off under Manage on the Slack card.
What doesn't
The email itself. A reply can say anything, and everyone in the channel sees the post, so Lenz only says who replied and the subject. Click Open in Lenz to read it. Out-of-office replies and bounces never get posted either.
It says "Not posting"
Slack stopped taking posts, usually because the channel was archived or Lenz was removed in Slack. Click Fix, then Reconnect, and pick a channel again.
