Email / Approvals

Approvals

Every email Lenz writes waits here until you decide. Lenz can draft; it can't send.

How a draft gets here

Lenz writes the draft in your Gmail: an intro, a reply in the same thread, or a follow-up from an automation. It lands in Approvals showing who it's to, the subject and the email itself.

Each person sees and approves their own drafts.

Approve, edit or reject

  • Approve and send sends it from your Gmail, as you.
  • Edit (or press E) lets you change the recipient, subject and message. Save changes (⌘↵) updates the draft in Gmail; then Approve and send comes back.
  • Reject takes it out of the queue without sending.

Press J and K to move through the list. Approving is click-only, on purpose.

Sent once

Each approval sends at most once, even if you click twice. If the draft changes after it was queued, even in Gmail itself, it goes back to waiting for your OK.

After it sends

The email shows Open in Gmail. If Lenz planned table updates for the send, like moving the stage to Contacted, they're applied once it's gone. The right side shows what will change before you approve.

Statuses

Waiting for you, Sending, Sent, Rejected, and Couldn't send. Filter by status from the sidebar while you're in Approvals.

Delete requests

Approvals also holds Lenz's requests to delete rows. See Records & links.
