Automations / Schedules
Schedules
Automations run on a schedule you describe in words. They start paused, run as you, and only ever draft.
Creating one
Go to Automations and choose New automation, or ask in a chat. Describe what and when: "Every Monday at 9, follow up with anyone who hasn't replied in a week."
Lenz turns that into a schedule and shows it in words, like "every Monday at 09:00", in your workspace's timezone. Owners set the timezone under Settings → General.
Paused until you say so
New automations start paused. Read the plan, then choose Turn on. From then on it runs as you, without asking first. Emails it drafts still wait in Approvals.
Only the person who set it up can turn it on or pause it. Pause takes effect right away.
Changing it
Ask Lenz on the automation's Plan tab. When the plan changes, the automation pauses again so you can read it before it runs.
When a run fails
A run gets up to three tries, waiting longer between each. The Runs tab shows each try. If the last one fails, the next scheduled run still happens, and you get an email (turn it off under Settings → Notifications).
Deleting
Choose Delete automation… from its ⋯ menu (you need to have set it up, or be an owner). Its run history goes with it. What it made stays: the rows it added, and drafts waiting in Approvals.
Timing
Automations are checked once an hour, so runs start a little after their time. During early access they can be a few hours late.
