Records & links

Edit any cell in place, open a row to see everything about it, and link rows across tables.

Editing a row

Click a cell (or press Enter) to edit it. Enter or clicking away saves; Esc cancels. Choices open a dropdown, yes/no flips on click, and dates open a date picker.

Click the first column of a row to open it in a side panel. Every field is editable there, with Previous row and Next row to move through the table, plus the row's Related rows, its History, and Ask Lenz about it.

Lenz can link tables, like partners to their firms. A linked table gets a Related column with a count, and the row panel lists each linked row so you can jump to it.

Links are made by asking Lenz: "Link each partner to their firm."

Last reply

When you've emailed people in a table through Approvals, a Last reply column appears. It shows whether they replied, sent an auto-reply or bounced, or how long it's been with no reply. It only counts emails you sent.

Deleting rows

Tick the rows, then click Delete in the bar at the bottom. You can delete up to 100 rows at a time. Changed your mind? Undo stays up for 10 seconds.

After that, deleted rows sit in Recently deleted (in the table's ⋯ menu) for 30 days, with a Restore button. Owners can restore anything. Members can restore rows they deleted themselves.

When Lenz wants to delete

Lenz can't delete rows by itself. When it thinks rows should go, like duplicates, it asks: you'll see Lenz wants to delete N rows in Approvals and on Home, with its reason. Choose Delete N rows or Keep all. Rows you let it delete go to Recently deleted, like any other.
