Email / Google Calendar and Drive
Google Calendar and Drive
Calendar lets drafts offer times you're free. Drive lets you add the files you pick. Each asks Google for one narrow permission.
Both ride on the same Google account as Gmail. If that account is already connected, Google only asks about the new part.
Google Calendar
Open Integrations, choose Connect on Google Calendar, and sign in.
Lenz asks for one thing:
- See when you're free or busy (
calendar.freebusy). Just busy and free times: no event names, no guests, no details. It can't add or change events.
When a draft asks to meet, Lenz checks the next two weeks and offers two or three open times: weekdays, 9:00 to 17:00, never today, spread across different days. Times are in the workspace's timezone (Settings → General). With no timezone set, they're in UTC, and Lenz says so.
If you have more than one calendar on in a workspace, a time has to be free on all of them. If Google can't read one, Lenz doesn't guess: it asks you for times instead.
Google Drive
Open Integrations, choose Connect on Google Drive, and sign in.
Lenz asks for one thing:
- Open the files you pick (
drive.file). Only files you choose in Google's own picker. Lenz can't see anything else in your Drive.
Then, in a project's Files, click Add from Google Drive, or use the paperclip in a chat and choose From Google Drive. What you pick is copied into the project's Files, up to 50 MB each. Google Docs and Slides come in as PDFs, Sheets as Excel (Google exports up to 10 MB). A copy doesn't change when the original does: add it again for a newer version.
Per workspace, and removing it
Like Gmail, Calendar and Drive are on per workspace and per person. If your account already has them in another workspace, Integrations shows Use here.
- Remove on a product's sheet in Integrations takes that product out of this workspace only.
- Disconnect, under Settings → Account → Connected accounts, asks Google to remove Lenz's access to the whole account: Gmail, Calendar and Drive together. Files you already added stay in Files.
