Workspace / Slack
Slack
Lenz posts to one Slack channel per workspace when someone replies, drafts are waiting or an automation fails. Owners connect it.
Connecting
Owners only. Open Integrations in the sidebar, choose Connect on Slack, then Add to Slack. On Slack's screen, pick the Slack workspace and the channel, and allow. Slack sends you back to Lenz.
Members see whether Slack is on and what goes to it, but can't change it.
One channel per workspace
Each Lenz workspace posts to one channel. Connecting again (Pick another channel under Manage) replaces the old one, and keeps your switches.
Lenz asks Slack for one thing: post to the channel you pick. It can't read anything in Slack, list people or post anywhere else.
What goes to Slack
Each one has its own switch under Manage, all on to start:
- Someone replied: who wrote back, on whose email, and the subject. Never the reply itself. Out-of-office and bounces stay out.
- Drafts waiting: how many drafts are waiting in Approvals, and whose. At most once an hour, only when there's a new one.
- An automation failed: straight away when it can't run (a rejected key, no credit), otherwise after its last try.
Each post has a button back to Lenz. Replies posted are everyone's, not just yours, so the whole channel sees who's writing back. That's why nothing from the email itself goes there.
These don't change your emails. Settings → Notifications is still yours alone.
When it stops posting
If the channel is archived or deleted, or someone removes Lenz in Slack, Slack refuses the next post. The Slack card then says Not posting, and Manage says why. An owner clicks Reconnect to pick a channel again.
Removing it
Remove under Manage stops Lenz posting. Lenz still shows up in Slack's list of apps until someone removes it there.
